Festival de Pâques

The famous classical music festival of Aix-en-Provence will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. From 31 March until 16 April 2023, you can visit many talented musicians from all over the world who will show their talent to Aix. The best news is that there will be concerts for families too. How lucky to be able to visit a symphony during Festival de Pâques with kids in Aix?

For all parents among you that aren’t the lucky ones with a ticket, no worries. Your kids have the chance to participate in (French spoken) workshops. From fabricating an instrument, to learning about the play ‘Peter and the Wolf’ . You can find an overview with these workshops as well as masterclasses for adults on the website of the Festival. These workshops are for free, but you would need to reserve a ticket online or by phone.

On Saturday April 1st 2023 at 15:30 the Conservatory organizes a workshop for everyone. This workshop named ‘Le Maestro est vous’ is held on Place Richelme in the centre of Aix, you get the chance to be the conductor of the Orchestra of Conservatoire Darius Milhaud and to conduct a play of Vivaldi. So great!
