Crêpes à gogo, Aix

One of the famous French specialties are ‘crêpes’. Where I come from we eat pancakes, the more thick version and often with stuff in the batter. In my opinion crêpes are a more sophisticated version, though of course no way healthier :-D. Anyway, I think my kids and I could eat crêpes on every moment of the day: as breakfast, lunch, goûter… There is almost no more favorite meal for kids I believe. In the centre of Aix-en-Provence you can find a great spot for crêpes with kids that I would like to suggest.

It is called Crêpes à gogo and is located in an, yes, underground corridor. Sounds a bit dodgy, but once there you will be comforted by the great smell of delicious crêpes being prepared. From sugar to Nutella, from cheese to ham, almost every kind of topping you could wish for is served. Sweet or savoury, all for a good price.

It is only a take away concept, which now is perfect! With the sun shining you can find yourself a bench on the square of La Rotonde, or take your kid and crêpes to the nearby Parc Jourdan. You will find a cute playground over there and space to let your kid run of all the new energy.

Where and when?

Crêpes à gogo doesn’t have a website, but Google tells us this great spot for crêpes with kids is open from Tuesday till Saturday (11 till 19:15). The resto is hidden next to the Apple shop (cannot miss it). Above the stairs you will see a metal sign that says: ‘Le Passage’. A good one to combine with a visit to the market. Or with some necessary but oh so nice shopping in the city centre of Aix-en-Provence. Check my other post about kid-friendly activities in Aix-en-Provence.

My son loves Crepe gogo after a burger from Five Guys. It already became a routine for any trip to the town with kids.

Hi Canan! That is one great and delicious routine for you! It makes going into town even more attractive for your kids :-). I haven’t tried Five Guys yet, but I heard that they serve milkshakes, hmm!
