L’Art Glacier, Ansouis
As you might have read in my other blogs my kids and I are fond of ice cream. I have a magnificent place to share with you. My sweet French teacher Lucie told me about l’Art Glacier and their amazing terrace. Now, your kids will even love you more when you take them here haha. Delicious ice cream with a view.
L’Art Glacier is a treasure, to be found near the pretty village Ansouis. Almost immediately after we got the hint we visited l’Art Glacier and were stunned with the delicious coupes of ice cream. Almost as stunning was the view. Ooooh, that view! From one of the desired tables (as I have heard there can be queues) you can enjoy your ice creation and look over a beautiful Luberon valley.
But back to the ice cream. There is so much variety that it is so difficult to choose. Well, that is just a luxury problem. The most important thing is to enjoy the delicious creation that you’re served. Kids will have a blast with the shiny decoration joining their coupe. L’Art Glacier is open from 14 o’clock, but it is wise to check their time schedule as it differs this summer.
The village is worth a visit too
When you are in the area of Ansouis, don’t skip the small but cute playground at Route de Villelaure. It has a playing castle from where you can see the real ‘chateau’ of Ansouis. Next to the playground there is an area to safely let your kids cycle or scooter. Don’t go there just for this playground, but combine it with a delicious ice cream with a view and a stroll through the village.
