Wanted Burger
Just a few minutes from where we live, we discovered a great outdoor family restaurant. This treasure is called Wanted Burger, situated in the ‘campagne’ (countryside) of Aix-en-Provence. The restaurant is actually an old bus, that is transformed in a kitchen and even a few indoor seats. You would actually want to sit outside, I will tell you why.
Le food
Your child will love this place, and so will you! Wanted Burger serves, what’s in a name, delicious hamburgers in a wide variety of styles. Like the Sheriff Burger for instance, or a vegetarian version. The fries are home made, so does that make them a slightly bit healthier? The kids will not only be thrilled with their fries and mini burger, they are even spoiled with a tiny surprise that comes along with the kids burger. I love the fact that Wanted Burger has good quality and not only in food, but in their collection of wines too. You can enjoy very good rosés from the region of Aix, like Château la Coste.
Beautiful surroundings
Of course there is more about this place. The surroundings are just breathtaking. Next to the bus is a wide terrace with wooden seats and tables, from here you have a perfect view on the Sainte-Victoire. At night the enchanting party lights illume and you find yourself at the table while the kids are running around. There is no playground, though the rural landscape is very inviting for the children to play tag. Lot’s of parents visit this spot, so most of the guests won’t be bothered with slightly noisy kids. Always a pleasure! A cute thing is that the kids can even have a peak at the cute animals that live on the property.
