La table de Rina, Ventabren
About 20 minutes from the centre of Aix-en-Provence, lies the little village named Ventabren. The heart of the village is located at the top of a hill and is very pretty. Driving a little bit further, you stumble upon the ‘Plateau de Ventabren’, where you find several sports facilities and a hiking area with an incredible vue. You could even spot the Mediterranean Sea! On the plateau you encounter a great Italian family friendly restaurant around: La Table de Rina. Aqueduc de Roquefavour
On our way to school we always spot a glance of the impressive Aqueduc de Roquefavour. It is situated in Ventabren, a village near Aix-en-Provence. This aqueduct was build in 1847 as part of the Canal de Marseille to bring water from La Durance to Marseille. The engineers were inspired by the antique and famous Pont du Gard, also a place I tend to write you about. Aqueduc de Roquefavour is still used to supply Marseille with water.
